3. What is the cost?
The cost depends on how large your event is
and what the technical requirements are, which is most often affected
by the size of the room and how many people are at the event. Prices are
based on standard going rate for the country where the event it taking
place. We do our best to keep our prices competitive by going with local
contractors whenever possible.

4. How long
is the concert?
There
is approximately 2 hours of music available. This can be divided up however
necessary or even shortened if less music is required.

We will need a private space to where we can prepare for the gala
and do costume changes.

6. How is payment made? Do we have to pay everyone separately?
One payment is usually made by account transfer. One half of the payment
is due when the contract is signed, the second half is transferred on
the day of the performance. The details are worked out in the contract
agreement. You do not need to pay each of the performers and technicians
separately.

7. If I’ve purchased CDs, how will they be delivered?
Unless otherwise specified in the contract, the CDs for your clients
and guests are usually delivered to you the day of the performance. Special
arrangements can be made to deliver them earlier if you would like time
to gift wrap them.

8. What if we don’t have a sound system?
It is possible, depending on the size of the event and the room that
a sound system is not needed. If it is necessary to have one, then we
can arrange for a small system to be brought in very inexpensively.

9. What if we already have a sound system?
Chances are we can use that system. Our road manager would need to
speak with your point person and technician to organize the details.
top
10. Are there any extra fees?
No, there are no extra fees. All fees are worked out in advance and
included in the contract.

11. How long do Kate and The Red Thread need to be there the day
of the event?
Usually 1-2 hours before the performance time is necessary for arrival,
set up and sound check. This can also be done earlier in the day.

12. We have an all day event and don’t want to be interrupted
with set up while our event is going on, so what is the latest you can
be there?
If you have an all day event and can’t have the event interrupted,
then it is probably necessary to have the set up and the sound check the
day before. Everything will be set up then so that on the day of your
event, everything will go smoothly and elegantly.
top
13. How long does it take you to set up and take down
That depends on how large the event hall is and who has organized
the sound equipment. Usually the road manager coordinates the load-in
and load-out times with your point person and the technician on-site.
top
14. Who arranges for overnight accommodations?
Sometimes there is a recommendation for the area. Usually the client
makes these arrangements. Then our road manager coordinates the details
with your point person.
